亚太地区66%的人点击了重定向广告;

韩国人更倾向于通过比价网站(而不是OTA)进行预订;

[global travel inquiry](this article compiled from the French Tnooz) digital marketing technology company Criteo and the British market research company Euromonitor International recently jointly issued a report, the mobile terminal Asia Pacific Tourism reservation to achieve growth, and not limited to the China market.

The report cited data from Euromonitor and surveyed 1900 consumers from 9 countries about their travel, search and booking methods.

Obviously, the size of the Chinese market has taken the lead in terms of bookings, but at the same time some of the market has been growing more dramatically, such as India.

Today, China is the most populous country in the world (more than 1 billion 400 million), and the UN recently released a report saying that &ldquo, the population of India, will overtake China's &rdquo in about 7 years;.

Data show that in 2017 the online travel sales in the Asia Pacific region, the mobile terminal bookings accounted for 50%, it is expected that the proportion will rise to 58% by 2020. For each country, China Mobile accounted for the highest end of the book, and the largest increase in the country is India, Euromonitor is expected to grow at a compound annual market of India mobile terminal bookings in the years 2017-2020 rate will reach 62.2%.

The mobile terminal bookings growth may mean that the popularity of smart mobile phone rate also increased. India's growth in this area will overtake China again, while smartphone usage in all markets will continue to rise, with Indonesia and Vietnam growing significantly.

Today, India has the highest percentage of travelers who browse and book by mobile terminals, 62% and 54%, respectively, with an average of 43% and 34% in the Asia Pacific region.

The research also compared mobile browser reservations with App reservations. Australians are most likely to use mobile browsers to book, while Chinese tend to use App reservations. In 9 countries, App reservations in 5 countries occupy the dominant position of booking.

Other data for this report:

66% of the Asia Pacific region clicked on redirected ads;

Koreans are more likely to make reservations through price parity sites (rather than OTA);

Millennials in Vietnam, Japan and Singapore are more likely to travel, search, and book on PC computers rather than smartphones.

The research also shows that the mobile terminal is no doubt occupying more market share for the online travel search and booking in the Asia Pacific region. The value of the online travel market in the Asia Pacific region is expected to reach $446 billion in 2020, up 72% from 2016, of which mobile terminal bookings will account for 3\/4 of the growth rate.

The growth rate and user reservation habits in different countries are different, which shows that there are differences in opportunities in different regions. China should carry the banner of mobile reservation growth and India, perhaps in 10 years to win the leading position in the market. (Nic compilation)
