航路信息CEO詹谊:创业之后,尽量淡化“去哪儿”这个标签|去哪儿系创业者

最近,根据庄辰超2014年的一次演讲所整理的旧文,关于创立去哪儿的经历和对价格战的思考,在朋友圈刷屏。

有的人崇拜庄辰超,更多的人怀念去哪儿时代。

传言在线旅游领域,呼叫中心时代成就了携程的江湖霸主地位,PC时代艺龙异军突起杀出重围,而移动互联网时代,在技术和战略上快、准、狠的去哪儿成为一代枭雄。而2013年11月1日成功于纳斯达克上市,则标志着去哪儿成为了舞台上的主角。

在三方势均力敌时,管理层的运筹,成千上万一线员工的合力拼杀,以狼性著称的去哪儿初现占领上风的气势,制衡即将失衡。

只是谁也没想到,梁建章一个回马枪,我花开后百花杀,继艺龙之后,去哪儿也被携程收入囊中,庄辰超也黯然离场。

诸多旅游业人士谈及去哪儿那些年的“豪赌”时,有争议,也有思辨。

一方面,去哪儿雷霆手段却十足流氓,“赌博式”的返现甚至是“刷单”险些将一个稳居老大、“已经看不到竞争对手”的携程掀下马来,也扰乱了航司、酒店的价格体系;但从另一方面来看,去哪儿通过比价把旅游业的在线流量做起来了,促进了航司官网的发展,同时还因为价格战压低了行业利润让携程等竞争对手更关注产品丰富度和用户体验……

而今,去哪儿在携程麾下作战两年,从纳斯达克退市也超过半年。有人说,如今的去哪儿,少了几分狼性和激进,更添几分鏖战之后的岁月沧桑。

与庄辰超一起打天下的核心团队,大都已经离开去哪儿。不论是已经离职,还是仍然身在去哪儿的员工,每每谈起当年往事,开始总是豪情万丈,之后默默一声叹息,最后是释怀与继续前行。

2014-2015年,环球旅讯对阿里系酷讯系携程系艺龙系的创业者进行了报道,在前东家的经历,启发了他们创业的思路;他们在创业打拼的过程中,不少团队也依然带有前东家的气质。

近期,环球旅讯也访问了数位去哪儿系的创业者,也许能通过他们对曾经奋斗过的公司的回忆,从一个新的角度,让读者能从缝隙中窥视这些年去哪儿的起伏和行业影响力。

【环球旅讯 邹育敏】从去哪儿离职之后,詹谊创办了航路信息,通过其所打造的数据集合与运算平台连接国际机票的供应商和采购商。

和詹谊一起创业的还有三个去哪儿的“旧人”,而创业的根源,也与在去哪儿的职业经历不可或分。

跟环球旅讯聊起在去哪儿的往事时,詹谊提到了一些去哪儿人想想都会激动的时刻:在纳斯达克上市时,2012年携程股价降至10美元时团队忘我工作期待赶超时,等等。

“虽然去哪儿于我而言只是过客,我曾经也只是去哪儿中的一颗螺丝钉,现在也不会用更多带有感情色彩的句子去感怀,但如果再给我一次选择的机会,”詹谊说,“我依然会选择在2011年10月8号那天加入去哪儿,只是可能会更早,或是更晚离开。”

赶上了去哪儿最好的那几年

入职去哪儿之前,詹谊曾在PWC会计师事务所和深圳航空分别工作了2年和7年,2009前往澳大利亚攻读航空管理硕士学位之后,还在香港航空短暂待过。

“去哪儿给我的第一印象就是互联网企业,当年大家做事情非常积极向上,也很有凝聚力,做的事情也是我想做的。所以去了之后,感觉找到了归属。”詹谊如是说。

以商务发展总监的身份开始了在去哪儿的职业生涯,詹谊负责部分国内航司的一些产品合作业务。

机票产品线作为去哪儿第一条产品线,在当时属当红炸子鸡。公开报道显示,当时去哪儿机票单日出票量在6-7万张,而中国民航每天出票量为70万张左右,以此计算,去哪儿单日出票量已经占到中国民航机票单日出票量的近10%。连去哪儿创始人庄臣超都说,去哪儿的营收增长得益于机票业务的内生性增长。

但不久之后,詹谊就开始在去哪儿执行众诚泰保险经纪公司成立的项目,“从准备材料、跑保监局、拿批文、看场地到最后拿到保险经纪牌照,几乎是我一个人做的。”

直到国际机票业务在去哪儿内部发力时,詹谊才回归他的“正道”,负责和国际机票相关的境外合作业务,包括与境外航司、GDS、代理人等合作,一直到2015年6月离开去哪儿。

“我在去哪儿待了将近5年,它把我从传统的民航人变成了有互联网思维和有互联网工作能力的人。而且去哪儿最有激情、最好的那几年,我是赶上了,那时候的去哪儿发展如日中天,感觉干掉携程指日可待。”詹谊笑言,直到现在也非常感谢去哪儿。

创业,实践在去哪儿未尽的想法

谈及离开的原因,詹谊表示,主要是在国际机票业务的发展上,去哪儿的路径与自己心中所设想的蓝图有所偏差。

“实话讲,当时去哪儿的国际机票业务正处于摸索阶段,第一没人才,第二复杂,第三没数据。”詹谊说,“而且在国内机票的市场份额都吃不完的时候,花100分的力气能做200分的事情,就没人会花100分的力气去做50分的事情。”

詹谊认为,要做好国际机票业务有两个关键点:一是在资源积累上要有国际视野,二是在技术层面上必须有基础系统和数据支持,而不是找国内代理人凑一些数据就开始卖,“就算能卖出些销量,但也不是长久之计”。

尽管在去哪儿管理层会议上,詹谊提过自己对国际机票业务发展的看法,但最终没有被采用。“每个公司在当时的市场环境里都有自己的战略选择,可能当时去哪儿所追求的东西并不仅仅是业务层面的东西。我也不认为我说的一定就是对的。”

2014、2015年,正是“去携大战”火爆之时。即使是以元搜索起家,庄辰超是以技术和产品见长的创始人,主动发起价格战的去哪儿,或许在大的策略上更多以占领市场为主,而难以全面顾及深层次的技术与业务创新。

但詹谊看到的市场是,2014年中国出境游进入了高速发展的初期,无论是宏观的出境游数据还是国内航司购买宽体机的态度和速度,都在提示出境游红利的到来。“与此同时,中国市场的国际机票业务坑蒙拐骗很多,信息不对称、服务不专业,这里面有很多机会。”

抱着这个“机会”,詹谊“也没想那么多”,就和另外三个志同道合的同事,一起创立了航路信息,实践自己在去哪儿未尽的想法。

管理上复制去哪儿的基因

和最初的去哪儿一样,航路信息也是一家强调技术的公司,据詹谊透露,技术研发和产品团队占公司员工几乎一半,而所研发的JET-X交易系统能满足行业内的绝大部分需求,并致力于为用户提供基于自动化聚合内容的灵活解决方案及实时访问无限机票信息的途径。

一家创业公司的技术创新,与团队的高效及配合不无关系。在管理上,詹谊把在去哪儿学到的管理经验原封不动地搬到了航路信息。

“第一就是扁平化管理,第二是大家在工作上的平等,第三是沟通上的高效和没有阻碍。”詹谊总结说,去哪儿发展最快那几年的管理模式值得互联网创业公司借鉴。

詹谊对比航司和去哪儿的管理风格,“航司在管理上更倾向流程,大家更专注流程正确,自己没错;而去哪儿的项目,更倾向于竞争性创造,谁先拿到结果,谁就拿到了这个项目或产品的决定权力”。

“去哪儿会给员工机会,让他们去证明自己。”谈及去哪儿的内部管理机制,詹谊还透露,去哪儿本身没有鼓励员工创业的机制,就算是员工离开去哪儿之后创业,去哪儿也不会像阿里或者腾讯这样的大互联网企业,在值得投入的项目上“扶你一把”。

“或许是我创业的时候,去哪儿已经因为变化而没来得及实现这些东西吧”。詹谊笑言。

没赶上携程收购那一波

但出走创业,詹谊也有自己的“小遗憾”。

“我应该更早一点离开,或者更晚一点。”詹谊解释说,更早离开去哪儿,航路信息或许会走得更加顺利,毕竟在市场前景明朗的前提下,早一步进入就能争取更多的时间进行基础系统的搭配和数据的沉淀,从而在赛道上跑得更快更远,而不是作为后来者去追赶别人。

至于晚一点离开,詹谊笑言,离职几个月之后携程和去哪儿就合并了。“没赶上携程收购那一波啊,如果赶上了,估计也就没动力创业了。”

现如今,詹谊与去哪儿的联系并不多,在业务层面上,2016年11月,航路信息获得战略融资,并与美团点评签署战略合作协议。“目前航路信息发展还算不错,员工人数超过了120人,销售额一年增长了15倍。”詹谊透露。

至于个人交情层面,除了一些因为私交变成朋友的前同事,不像携程前员工有“脱携党”、阿里前员工有“前橙会”、腾讯前员工有“南极圈”、盛大前员工有“盛斗士”等,离职去哪儿之后,詹谊并没有找到“组织”,尽管他知道从去哪儿出来创业的人不少,继续为携程打工的也不少。

詹谊坦言现在无论是自己还是航路信息,都尽量淡化“去哪儿”这个标签。“如果没有被问及,我会很少向人提及我是去哪儿出来的创业者。去哪儿在行业内是一家值得回味的公司,既然是回味,就会时不时咀嚼一下之前留下的美好回忆,之后继续为自己的事业努力。”
